Minimum User Desktop Hardware Requirements
- Processor: Minimum 400 MHz processor, recommended: Pentium IV 1.6 GHz
- RAM: 256 MB RAM minimum, 512 MB RAM recommended
- Sound: 16-bit sound card, with speakers or a headset (optional)
- Screen resolution: 1024 by 768 (minimum)
Minimum User Desktop Software Requirements
- Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Vista.
- Browser: Internet Explorer (IE) version 6 or higher, with JavaScript support in the browser configuration (see Note below)
- Required plug-ins:
- Courses require Flash 9 subversion 115 or above plug-in in order to function.(see Note below)
- For web assessments, the Java plug-in JRE 1.31_03 or higher is required
- Acrobat PDF Reader
- Pop-up Blockers: Must be disabled in order to view the course content properly.
Note: Later versions of Flash and IE are available. These updated releases have introduced new security changes that may affect the performance of certain features in the courses. If you are using a later release of these software components and encounter problems, we request that you identify the problems and report them to SAP as soon as possible.
Connectivity Requirements
- Minimum Connection speed: 128 kbps, DSL. (We recommend at least 128k for high quality performance. While the course will function even at dialup speeds, due to the multimedia nature of the materials, serious performance degradation may occur.)
